AlphaTauri has become the latest team to display its 2022 Formula 1 contender, the AT03, featuring a tweaked scheme of its now traditional navy blue and white colours.
AlphaTauri, entering its third year since rebranding under Red Bull’s clothing company, will field an unchanged driver partnership of Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda.
Gasly finished ninth in last year’s championship and claimed AlphaTauri’s sole podium of the campaign in Azerbaijan.
Tsunoda endured an at-times fraught campaign as a rookie but was retained for 2022 and finished his maiden year with a career-best fourth in Abu Dhabi.
The AT03 will again be equipped by Honda power units, now under the guise of Red Bull Powertrains, following the Japanese marque’s official departure.
AlphaTauri enjoyed the strongest campaign in its history in terms of points in 2021, amassing 142, as it equalled its best classification of sixth in the standings.
Williams is due to be the next team to present its car, the FW44, on Tuesday
