Formula 2 veteran Ralph Boschung will remain in the championship in 2022 after signing on for another season with Campos.
Boschung, 24, made his debut in the category with the Spain-based team in 2017 and returned to the squad for the final two events of 2020 after spells with MP Motorsport and Trident.
Boschung holds 12th place in this year’s championship, having taken six top 10 finishes, including a best of fourth in Monaco.
“I’m very grateful to Campos Racing for the opportunity to continue with them for the 2022 FIA Formula 2 season,” said Boschung.
“I believe in continuity and loyalty and these are two strong assets we have as a team.
“I want to thank Adrian Campos Jr. and the whole Campos team for what has been a great season so far. 2021 has been my first season with full backing, so I look forward to building on this momentum next year.”
Boschung is Campos’ first confirmed driver for the 2022 season.
“We’re extremely happy to have Ralph with us for another season,” said team boss Campos.
“We received a hard hit at the beginning of this year following the passing of my father, since then the team has worked harder than ever and we have never been more united.
“For next season, we want to continue our upward trend in terms of results.
“I want to personally thank Ralph and the team of people supporting him for placing their trust in Campos Racing for another year.”
