11 drivers have been summoned to see the stewards following the conclusion of the Austrian Grand Prix.
Much of those who have been called are present for allegedly “not respecting double waved yellow flags” following Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen’s final lap crash.
Those drivers are; Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Daniel Ricciardo, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin and Pierre Gasly.
Vettel and Raikkonen have also been invited to the stewards’ office to determine the cause of the incident.
The two were battling on the exit of Turn 5 on the last lap of the grand prix, but made contact at high-speed, causing them both to spear across the grass.
“Obviously our wheels touched and off we went,” Raikkonen said. “[An] unfortunate end but it didn’t change much, because we were both out of the points, but I’ll have to see it from the outside
“I saw him there, but I don’t know how we ended up touching. I don’t know if I moved or he moved… I’ll have to see it.”
In addition, George Russell will see the stewards for allegedly “moving under braking at Turn 4” while battling Raikkonen.
