Pirelli has conducted its latest test of the 18-inch tyres, collaborating with Ferrari at the Bahrain International Circuit on Tuesday.
The 18-inch tyres will be introduced to Formula 1 next year, along with a wider set of technical regulation changes.
Both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were present at the test, completing 141 laps between them during the day.
Ferrari is the only team to have tested with Pirelli so far this year, having also taken part in a three-day event at Jerez in February.
However, Alpine will be next to assist Pirelli in their assessments of the new tyre, with the French team running in Bahrain on Wednesday and Thursday.
All 10 current F1 teams bar Williams will take part in tests during the coming year across nine circuits, supplying mule cars to provide Pirelli with relevant data.
The 18-inch tyres were originally scheduled to be introduced to the sport in 2021 but were postponed along with other aerodynamic alterations as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Formula 2 has used 18-inch tyres since the start of the 2020 season.
