Motorsport and automotive world pays tribute to Sabine Schmitz

German racer and Top Gear host Sabine Schmitz passes away aged 51

Figures from both the automotive and motorsport world have taken to social media to pay tribute to German racer Sabine Schmitz.

Schmitz passed away on Wednesday following a lengthy battle with cancer, aged 51.

Schmitz also appeared on BBC’s popular motoring programme Top Gear numerous times. Both past and current presenters from the show have expressed their condolences.
