Loic Duval has set the quickest time in final practice ahead of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The Frenchman posted a 01:35.085 behind the wheel of the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR, which was just 0.012s quicker than the #01 chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac DPi-VR i the hands of Kevin Magnussen.
Oliver Jarvis was third in the #55 Mazda RT24-P, with Filipe Albuquerque fourth in the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05.
The margins at the top of the class were extremely tight, with the gap between Duval and Albuquerque just 0.053s. The top five was completed by Pipo Derani in the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR.
John Farano posted the quickest time in LMP2 for Tower Motorsport, with the Canadian driver’s #8 ORECA 07-Gibson outpacing the #20 High Class Racing ORECA of Ferdinand Habsburg and Tristan Nunez in the #11 WIN Autosport ORECA.
GTLM runners once again outperformed the LMP3 machinery in the final session ahead of the twice-around-the-clock enduro, with Alessandro Pier Guidi clocking the quickest time in the #62 Risi Competizione Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.
Pier Guidi’s best effort of 01:42.584 was enough to beat out WeatherTech Racing’s Kevin Estre by just 0.019s, with Tommy Milner third for Corvette Racing and Philipp Eng fourth for BMW Team RLL.
Jeroen Bleekemolen led the way in LMP3 by posting a 01:43.072 in the #91 Riley Ligier JS P320, well over half a second clear of Rasmus Lindh in the #38 Performance Tech Ligier and well over a second ahead of #6 Muelhner Motorsports Duqueine of Moritz Kranz.
Finally, Frank Perera led GTD in a one-two for GRT Grasser Racing Team. Perera posted a 01:45.583 in the #19 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, which was 0.154s ahead of team-mate Mirko Bortolotti in the #111 Lamborghini. Daniel Serra completed the top three in the #21 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.
