McLaren has become the latest team to set a launch date for its 2021 Formula 1 challenger.
The team has confirmed that the MCL35M will be unveiled during a launch show at its Technology Centre in Woking on February 15 at 19:00 GMT.
Notification of the MCL35M’s launch date comes a day after the team confirmed the car successfully fired-up for the first time.
Despite relatively stable regulations McLaren revealed that its MCL35M is “essentially a new car” owing to the changes needed to accommodate new power unit partner Mercedes.
McLaren spent three years with Honda, and another three with Renault, but has now returned to the marque that powered its Formula 1 cars between 1995 and 2014.
McLaren will field Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo in the upcoming campaign.
Of the other teams on the grid only Alfa Romeo has set a launch date, with its C41 set to be unveiled during an event in Polish capital Warsaw on February 22.
Pre-season testing is scheduled to begin in Bahrain on March 12.
The country is also slated to open the 2021 campaign on March 28.
