Mick Schumacher got behind the wheel of his father’s iconic Ferrari F2004 as part of the build-up to Formula 1’s Tuscan Grand Prix.
Schumacher, 21, completed several laps of the Mugello circuit in front of the few thousand spectators who were permitted access to the Ferrari-owned venue.
His father, who has not been seen in public since his serious skiing accident in 2013, claimed 13 victories in the 18-race 2004 season, in which he won his seventh and last Formula 1 title.
Formula 2 racer Schumacher previously demonstrated the car at last year’s German Grand Prix.
The youngster sported the helmet design that his father raced during the early 2000s.
Schumacher is currently leading the Formula 2 standings with three-quarters of the 2020 season completed.
The Ferrari junior tested for the manufacturer, along with Alfa Romeo, during in-season running last year.
