The Honda MotoGP outfit have confirmed that Marc Marquez will skip next weekend’s Styrian grand prix at the Red Bull Ring as he continues to recover from a broken arm.
The world champion continues to recover from recent surgery to his injured right arm in order to replace the titanium plate initially installed to help aid his broken humerus’ recovery.

Honda confirmed the news that Stefan Bradl would continue in place of Marquez in its Austrian GP event report on Sunday evening, Marquez now aiming to be fit for the San Marino GP at Misano in a month’s time.
The factory Honda outfit have struggled to compete towards the sharp end of the MotoGP grid in the absence of its six-time premier class champion with its current duo of Bradl and ’19 Moto2 world champion Alex Marquez.
Its best result so far has been an eighth achieved by Marquez in the Andalucian GP-albeit a contest heavily afflicted with attrition-while Bradl is yet to score a point.
LCR Honda racer Takaaki Nakagami has been the manufacturers most competitive prospect so far, the Japanese rider currently sitting sixth in the riders standings following four successive top ten results-including a superb fourth in the Andalucian event.
Honda currently fifth out of six in the manufacturers championship ahead of only Aprilia, 44 points down on leaders Yamaha after just four contests.
