Home deliveries have been more prominent during the current coronavirus pandemic – but not everyone has had a race-winning Formula 1 car turn up in the back of a van.
But not everyone is Kimi Raikkonen.
Switzerland-based Raikkonen posted pictures of the 2018 Ferrari SF71-H that he piloted to his most recent victory, at that year’s United States Grand Prix, being delivered to his house.
“We hope you enjoy it, Kimi,” posted Ferrari on social media.
Raikkonen claimed his sole world title with Ferrari in 2007 and, after four seasons away competing in the WRC and for Lotus in Formula 1, returned to the squad in 2014.
Raikkonen eventually added another victory in red in a thriller around the Circuit of the Americas, a few weeks after his exit from the team had been confirmed.
The Finn switched to Alfa Romeo for 2019 – the team with which he made his debut 18 years previously – and has stayed on for the delayed 2020 campaign.
