Jarvis leads at Daytona after strong start, Keating dominates LMP2

Oliver Jarvis leads the Rolex 24 at Daytona with half an hour gone, passing by without any notable incidents.

The Brit had a strong start in the #77 Mazda RT24-P and leads by some four seconds ahead of the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR of Felipe Nasr, who moved into third at the start and passed the #6 Team Penske Acura ARX-05 of Juan Pablo Montoya later on. 

Jonathan Bomarito sits in fourth in the #55 Mazda, ahead of the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-VR of Ryan Briscoe.

Ben Keating is dominating proceedings in LMP2, leading by nearly thirty seconds in the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson, with Cameron Cassels up to second in the #38 Performance Tech Motorsports ORECA and John Farano in the #8 Tower Motorsport by Starworks machine.

Porsche leads thanks to Nick Tandy in the #911 Porsche 911 RSR-19, but is no longer running in the one-two starting order as Antonio Garcia has moved into second in the #3 Corvette C8.R. Laurens Vanthoor now sits in third in the #912 Porsche ahead of the #25 BMW M8 GTE of Philipp Eng.

Zacharie Robichon has retained the lead in the #9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, ahead of the #96 Turner Motorsports BMW M6 GT3 which has moved into second ahead of the Jeff Westphal-driven #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3.
