IMSA has released the pre-event entry list for next week’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, the opener for the 2020 IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship.

A total of 39 cars will take part in the race, down one entry as PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports has withdrawn its second ORECA 07-Gibson entry. This brings the total number of cars in the LMP2 category down from seven to six.

There are no major changes to driver line-ups to be found compared to the Roar Before the 24 test, but several teams are still to complete their full line-ups.

In LMP2, Rick Ware Racing has yet to confirm the full line-up for the #2 Multimatic/Riley-Gibson, with only Cody Ware and Johnathan Hoggard currently confirmed.

In GTD, two teams still have driver slots left to be filled. The #47 Precision Performance Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo currently only has Brandon Gdovic and Eric Lux confirmed as drivers.

The only other team that is still looking to fill its ranks is Aston Martin Racing after it was confirmed at the Roar that Paul Dalla Lana would not be piloting the #98 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 due to a skiing injury.

Teams have until tomorrow (friday, January 17th) to officially nominate driver changes.
