Chip Ganassi Racing has revealed Huski Chocolate will become the primary partner for the team’s new arrival, Marcus Ericsson.
Ericsson will begin his sophomore year in the NTT IndyCar Series with the CGR outfit after spending his debut season at the now renamed Arrow McLaren SP outfit, alongside the now displaced James Hinchcliffe.
The Swede will line-up alongside five-time series champion Scott Dixon and compatriot Felix Rosenqvist who claimed Rookie Of The Year honours in 2019.
Ericsson’s best result of the 2019 campaign was a second-place finish at the second race of the ‘Dual In Detroit’.
Huski Chocolate completes a full line-up of primary sponsors as PNC Bank continues to back Dixon’s #9 for a third successive season and NTT Data will also back Rosenqvist’s #10 car.
Stanton Barrett, CEO, Huski Chocolate Americas, said: “This partnership is a great fit for our entire company. We have watched Marcus in Formula 1 and last year’s transition into INDYCAR.
“Marcus has great potential and now he can capitalise on his talents by teaming up with Chip Ganassi Racing in IndyCar.
“We can’t wait to get the season started in St. Petersburg with the Huski Chocolate Honda on the grid.”
