Sebastian Fernandez will remain in Formula 3 this year after signing a deal to race for ART Grand Prix.
Fernandez competed for Campos through 2019, failing to take a point, before switching to ART for post-season testing and the non-championship Macau Grand Prix.
Fernandez will link up with Alexander Smolyar and Theo Pourchaire at the team, which is the first to confirm its full line-up for 2020 in the tertiary category.
“I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with a team which has such a strong trajectory for the 2020 season,” said Fernandez.
“I have already worked with them at the Macau GP and the Valencia tests, where I felt really good.
“With a team like ART Grand Prix I believe together we can achieve some very good results in the upcoming season.”
It marks a completely refreshed line-up in Formula 3 for ART which fielded David Beckmann, Max Fewtrell and Christian Lundgaard in 2019.
Renault-backed Lundgaard is expected to remain with ART for 2020, moving up to Formula 2, where he will partner Ferrari junior and 2019 F3 runner-up Marcus Armstrong.
