One of the USA's most famous racing marquees, the Chevrolet Corvette, is set to return to racing action with their new C8.R model at the Lone Star Le Mans in February 2020.
The Pratt & Miller built race car will be making only its second racing appearance at the Circuit of the Americas after the 2020 WeatherTech IMSA Championship season opener at the Rolex Daytona 24hr.
Corvette retired the C7.R at the end of 2019 after a successful six-year stint in endurance racing which yielded two drivers and constructors' titles, competing in both the IMSA series and the World Endurance Championship.
While only one entry has been placed into the GTE Pro class, no drivers are currently confirmed in the car for the six-hour race.
