Roy Nissany will make his official Formula 1 bow during next week’s post-race tyre test in Abu Dhabi.
Nissany, 25, will link up with Williams to pilot its FW42 next Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Formula 1 is staying on at the venue for two days of running in order to sample Pirelli’s 2020 tyres.
Nissany has not raced full-time this year and last season placed 22nd in the Formula 2 championship.
The Israeli previously sampled Formula 1 machinery during a private test of Sauber’s 2012-spec car in Valencia five years ago.
Nissany is the son of one-time Minardi tester Chanoch.
Regular 2020 racers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi will also be in action during the test.
“I am excited to drive for ROKiT Williams Racing in the 2019 Abu Dhabi Pirelli tyre test,” said Nissany.
“It is great experience to build my on-track experience in a current Formula 1 car, and I hope that I can impress the team whilst doing so.”
