Pirelli has confirmed that it will bring the hardest compounds from its range to this year’s Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix.
The championship’s sole tyre supplier reduced the number of dry-weather compounds in its range from six to five this year, while renaming them C1 to C5.
The C1s, C2s and C3s will be taken to the high-speed Interlagos Circuit, which will host the penultimate round of the championship in November.
As per usual each driver will have 13 sets of tyres available for use throughout the course of the weekend, with Pirelli mandating one set of each compound.
They will then be permitted free choice for 10 of their remaining 13 sets of tyres.
