Haas has issued a brief statement clarifying that Rich Energy remains its title partner for the 2019 Formula 1 season.
Haas, which joined Formula 1 in 2016, signed the energy drinks company as its title partner ahead of the current campaign.
On Wednesday evening Rich Energy posted a statement on social media revealing that it had terminated the deal due to “poor performances” from Haas.
On Thursday morning a brief statement was issued by Haas.
"Rich Energy is currently the title partner of Haas F1 Team,” said team boss Guenther Steiner.
“I cannot comment further on the contractual relationship between our two parties due to commercial confidentiality."
Rich Energy have been the focus of suspicions and controversies since their sponsorship of Haas F1 was announced in November 2018.
The most recent was the loss of a court case over their logo and the United Kingdom's High Court order for them to disclose their finances by July 18 2019.
