Red Bull's planned upgrade for the Chinese Grand Prix has been rushed through and will now be on the RB15 for the first race of the season in Australia according to team advisor Helmut Marko.
The outfit, which has switched to Honda engines for 2019, enjoyed a successful pre-season test which has led to high motivation within the team, with Marko making some bold predictions, including five wins and the belief they are the second quickest team behind Ferrari, but ahead of Mercedes.
That has led to a "fully motivated" design chief Adrian Newey to push through developments that were originally planned for China and ready them for this weekend.
"Parts that were planned for the third race were brought forward, thanks to all the pressure he [Newey] could provide to get them on to the car for Melbourne," Marko told ServusTV.
"Every employee is convinced we have another chance to drive for victories on our own."
The Austrian also revealed that their new RB15 is the "most expensive" car ever produced by Red Bull.
"The RB15 is certainly the best and most expensive car in our history at Red Bull Racing, if you take efficiency and the technical perfection of the parts."
