Andre Lotterer will be forced to sit out a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time since the series began in 2012.
The German, three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner and 2012 WEC Champion with Audi, is unavailable due to a Formula E simulator test on the same date.
Lotterer is currently in his second season in Formula E, competing for DS Techeetah alongside Jean-Éric Vergne.
Rebellion has confirmed a replacement driver for its #1 car in the form of Mathias Beche, bringing the Swiss driver back into the fold after he was sidelined in favour of Nathanaël Berthon last month. Beche will now be piloting the #1 Rebellion R-13 alongside regulars Neel Jani and Bruno Senna.
The 1000 Miles of Sebring marks the sixth round in the 2018/2019 FIA World Endurance Championship and is set to take place on Friday March 15th.
