Carlin has announced Max Chilton will return with the British outfit for the 2019 NTT IndyCar season, with Charlie Kimball also returning on a part-time basis.
The British driver joined Carlin for its entry into the single-seater series in 2018, after two seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing, renewing his ties with the team he grew up racing for as a youngster.
During his time in IndyCar, Chilton has racked up over 50 race starts and eight top 10 finishes – including at the 2017 Indianapolis 500, where he came fourth.
Kimball will return to partner Chilton on a part-time basis; details have not yet been released as to his schedule.
"We’re very happy that we kept both drivers and both sponsors for the second year," said Team Principal Trevor Carlin.
"We’re one of the first new teams in a long, long time that has entered IndyCar and done a full season with two cars and to carry both of those drivers forward for a second season. We’re pretty proud of that."
Chilton added: "I couldn’t be happier to formally announce that [title partner] Gallagher will be back for the 2019 season partnering with myself and Carlin. Gallagher and Carlin are like family to me and I’m excited to see what we can do together building on both partnerships.
"Our first year together as an IndyCar team had its ups and downs, but the potential and growth that we showed as a team was obvious to everyone. I want to say a massive thank you to Gallagher for their continuing support of me."
