Taking to the dunes of Peru one last time, the 2019 edition of the Dakar is over and the Prince of the Desert – aka Nasser Al-Attiyah – has won his third Dakar and at the same time also gave Toyota their first ever Dakar win. It was also the first ever win for a petrol engined car in the South American incarnation of the iconic event. Ryan Wood had the full story.
Then over in Mexico City it was time for this year's Race of Champions. Team Nordic took the the Nations Cup win on Saturday, narrowly edging out the favourites Germany but oh what a surprise in the Champion of Champions race yesterday afternoon. Phillip Horton has the story!
