Formula 1 teams and drivers will be back in action during the post-race tyre test at the Yas Marina Circuit on Tuesday and Wednesday.
All Formula 1 teams have stayed on for two days of running in order to evaluate Pirelli’s 2019 tyres, with no set-up changes permitted after an initial spell on track.
Several teams will use the opportunity to get early mileage with their 2019 signings across the course of the test.
Ferrari will hand track time to Charles Leclerc while Pierre Gasly is set to step into the cockpit for Red Bull, albeit with the team powered by 2018 supplier Renault.
Carlos Sainz Jr. will make his first outing for McLaren, Lance Stroll will don Force India’s colours ahead of his anticipated move, while Kimi Raikkonen will return to a Sauber seat for the first time since 2001.
Newly-crowned Formula 2 champion George Russell will link up with Williams, alongside the returning Robert Kubica.
Daniil Kvyat will return to official Formula 1 action with Toro Rosso for the first time since last year’s United States Grand Prix, having spent 2018 as Ferrari’s development driver.
He will be joined at Toro Rosso for the test by Sean Gelael, while Haas will field youngsters Pietro Fittipaldi and Louis Deletraz – a first taste of Formula 1 for both.
The test is scheduled to run from 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
