Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler's Lucas di Grassi finished in first place in a simulation race during the second day of Formula E pre-season testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
Di Grassi, who is a former champion of the all-electric single seater series, emerged as the 'victor' after 45 minutes and one lap of racing, overtaking BMW i Andretti Motorsport's Alexander Sims on the final lap of the race after the Briton was slow on the exit of the final corner, with a narrow margin of 0.109s separating the pair at the chequered flag.
In a similar fashion to his team-mate, Daniel Abt in the second Audi performed a last lap overtake to secure third position, despite causing an early red flag after crashing in the make-shift chicane, overtaking the BMW machine of Antonio Felix da Costa who topped the morning session of Day Two as the only driver who has so far complete a lap under a 1m 17s.
Robin Frijns of Envision Virgin Racing took the chequered flag in fifth place behind da Costa while Mahindra Racing's Jerome d'Ambrosio was sixth.
Reigning Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne finished in seventh place, surrendering an early lead in order to save energy due to the removal of Formula E's now bygone mid-race car switch.
Maximilian Gunther led Jose Maria Lopez to the chequered flag in a Dragon 8-9 while Pascal Wehrlein completed the top 10 in the second Mahindra.
Edoardo Mortara, Felipe Massa, Andre Lotterer, Nelson Piquet Jr, Tom Dillmann, Sebastien Buemi and Stoffel Vandoorne failed to see the chequered flag.
