Formula 1's official tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed the compounds for the season finale in Abu Dhabi on November 23-25.
The selection has seen the Italian supplier bring the three softest compounds to run across the weekend around the street circuit-style Yas Marina layout. This will be the Supersoft, Ultrasoft and Hypersoft.
As per usual, drivers will have 13 sets of tyres for the weekend, of which one batch of Hypersofts must be used only in Q3, with either the Supersofts or Ultrasofts run in race trim.
Of the remaining 10 sets, they are permitted free choice from the three nominated compounds.
The Yas Marina circuit demands a softer tyre compound due to the street-circuit layout of the track as well as the need to generate tyre temperature as the residual daytime heat falls into the night.
