Williams development driver Robert Kubica has been handed two further outings in the Williams FW41 on the final two days of testing at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit.
Out of the 276 laps Williams has managed so far, Kubica has only managed to do 48 of them and will look to rack up a lot more mileage during his two mornings in the car on Thursday and Friday in order to give as much possible feedback to the team ahead of the opening race in Australia.
Poor weather conditions during the first test meant for a very disrupted schedule for everyone involved, especially with one entire day being effectively written off thanks to very cold temperatures and even snow surrounding the track.
The weather looks set to be much fairer for the second test allowing for extended running, especially with two out of the fours there will not be a scheduled lunch break, giving teams the option to run their programs without interruptions.
The second test will run on March 6-9.
