Force India has unveiled its 2018 challenger, the VJM11, ahead of the opening day of pre-season testing in Spain.
The squad, fourth in last year’s Constructors’ championship, conducted a low-key launch in the pit lane at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
With all other teams having provided a glimpse of their respective 2018 designs, either at launches or shakedown, Force India thus became the final team to show its new car.
Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon will again form Force India’s driver line-up, though neither will be in action on the opening day of testing today (Monday).
Force India has entrusted duties to development driver Nikita Mazepin, who will add the first laps to the VJM11 across the course of the day’s running.
Newly-signed reserve driver Nicholas Latifi will also sample the VJM11 this week, with the Canadian set to conclude running on Thursday.
