Robert Kubica will receive another outing with Williams at next week's post-race tyre test at the Yas Marina Circuit, along with Sergey Sirotkin, as the operation continues to evaluate its 2018 options.
Kubica sustained severe arm injuries in a rally crash in 2011 though has been exploring the prospect of returning to the sport in 2018, and carried out tests earlier this year with Renault, most prominently during post-race group running in Hungary.
Renault ultimately plucked for Carlos Sainz Jr. to partner Nico Hulkenberg, and Kubica turned to Williams, which fielded the Pole in two separate private test days at Silverstone and the Hungaroring last month, using the 2014 FW36.
Formula 1 is to stay on in Abu Dhabi next week for two days of tyre testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, aiding sole supplier Pirelli with its 2018 compounds.
Kubica will drive the FW40 on Tuesday morning on Wednesday afternoon, with Lance Stroll in action on Tuesday afternoon, and Sirotkin's chance coming on Wednesday morning.
Sirotkin has been affiliated with Renault since 2016, and has completed a handful of FP1 runs with the manufacturer this year.
"The test is aimed at evaluating 2018 candidate tyres on behalf of the Formula One tyre supplier Pirelli," read a statement.
"Williams is excited to have this opportunity to assess the new tyres across such an interesting range of drivers: Lance, as confirmed race driver for 2018, Robert with his huge experience, and Sergey as a very promising young talent in Formula One."
Williams has yet to determine Stroll's 2018 team-mate, with Felipe Massa retiring from the sport at the end of the year.
