Mick Schumacher completed an emotional Formula 1 demonstration run in his father’s 1994 championship-winning Benetton before the Belgian Grand Prix.
The lap of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit was to mark and celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael’s first F1 victory at the 1992 Belgian GP.
In the build-up to Sunday’s F1 race, Mick took to the track for a lap in one of the most important cars in his father’s career.
Schumacher took the Benetton B194 to eight victories and secured his first F1 title in the car.
Mick is currently racing with Prema in European Formula 3, having spent the last two seasons racing in Formula 4.
He used a special helmet design for the demo run, which had his own colour scheme on one side and his father’s design on the other.
