Robert Kubica is set to take to Goodwood’s Hillclimb during next weekend’s Festival of Speed, event organisers have announced.
Kubica will demonstrate the Renault-powered E20 – the car used by the team under its Lotus guise in the 2012 Formula 1 season – on Sunday 2 July.
The outing comes a few weeks after Kubica returned to Formula 1 machinery for the first time in six years, completing 115 laps during a private test at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
Kubica raced in Formula 1 between 2006 and 2010, but sustained serious injuries in a rally crash in February 2011, which limited the mobility of his right arm.
Kubica has since returned to competitive action in rallying and last year made a comeback to circuit racing, competing in a handful of endurance events.
