Renault e.dams will continue to field Sébastien Buemi and Nicolas Prost in Formula E for the next two seasons, the outfit confirmed on Friday.
Buemi and Prost have spearheaded the squad’s challenge since the start of Formula E in 2014, taking 14 wins, 11 for Buemi and three for Prost, with Renault e.dams securing Teams’ titles in successive seasons.
The pair will remain at the team for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns.
“I am very pleased to continue the adventure,” said reigning champion Buemi, who holds a comfortable lead in this season's standings.
“The team has done an amazing job and allowed me to have the best car on the grid. I could not ask for anything more.
“I look forward to continuing to fight hard and bringing home more victories to my team.”
“ I am obviously delighted to continue with Renault e.dams for the next two years,” commented Prost, currently third in the table.
“Most people within the team have been here since the first test in Donington back in 2014. We all know each other well and get on great together.
“We will continue to work hard to finish this third season on a high and prepare to do even better in seasons four and five.
“The level does not stop rising and we want to maintain to be the best.”
