Sauber driver Pascal Wehrlein has been cleared to return to Formula 1 test action, having missed last week's running due to the after-effects of a back injury.
Mercedes-backed Wehrlein made his Formula 1 debut with Manor last year and switched to Sauber over the winter, though his first appearance with the team was delayed following an accident at the Race of Champions.
Wehrlein rolled his Polaris Slingshot at the event in January and, while he was able to walk away from the incident, he sat out last week's first test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as a precaution.
Wehrlein was replaced by Ferrari reserve Antonio Giovinazzi but the German has now been given the green light to take to the wheel of the C36 for the first time in Tuesday.
