The Renault RS.17 and Haas VF-17 both made their track debuts on Saturday ahead of the first pre-season test which begins on Monday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Renault were supposed to hold their filming day on Friday, but rain forced them to reschedule to Saturday, the same day as the yet-to-launch 2017 Haas.
"That was really fun," said Renault's Jolyon Palmer, who got the first taste of the RS.17. "Loads of downforce, loads of grip, a few laps, no hiccups and a big smile on my face. I can't wait to be back in the car on Tuesday."
Renault released an image (above) and a short video clip of their car in action, whilst Haas have continued to keep their VF-17 under wraps until Sunday's launch. However several images were leaked on social media revealing a predominently dark grey and red livery, similar to what they ran during their debut season.
Although filming days are meant to be used to collect marketing material, they're often used as a pre-test shakedown to run through the cars systems and to make sure they're 'test ready'.
So far Mercedes and Ferrari have also carried at filming days at Silverstone and Fiorano respectively.
