Force India development driver Alfonso Celis Jr. will receive a day’s worth of running during next week’s opening pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Celis Jr. joined Force India towards the end of 2015 and participated in six free practice sessions at Grands Prix last year, alongside his duties in Formula V8 3.5.
Celis Jr. also completed four days of test action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, two pre-season, two in-season, and will add to his mileage next week.
The Mexican youngster has been handed testing duties for Wednesday’s running in the VJM10 at the home of the Spanish Grand Prix.
The remainder of running will be split between regular race drivers Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon, with each receiving a day-and-a-half in Force India’s new car.
The VJM10 will be unveiled at Silverstone tomorrow (Wednesday), with the first pre-season test taking place from next Monday to Thursday.
