Mercedes will launch its new car for the 2017 Formula 1 season, the W08 Hybrid, at Silverstone on February 23.
Mercedes enters the 2017 season looking to defend both its drivers' and constructors' championships from the past three seasons, having enjoyed a dominance over the field rarely seen through F1 history.
The German marque is set to face fresh challenges this year with an overhaul of the technical regulations that will produce more radical-looking cars, set to be multiple seconds per lap faster than the 2016 models.
On Wednesday, Mercedes confirmed via its website that it would be launching the W08 Hybrid at Silverstone on February 23, as well as launching a fan competition to attend the unveil. The car will also complete laps at Silverstone as part of a filming day.
The launch comes one day before Ferrari's planned unveil at Fiorano in Italy, with the remainder of the grid yet to confirm its reveal plans.
Pre-season testing begins at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on February 27.
