The official Formula 1 game is set to be released for mobile devices and Apple TV later this year, Codemasters has officially confirmed.
The F1 2016 title was released last month for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, featuring a new 10-season career mode, updates all round and a host of new features.
Few details were revealed in the announcement from Codemasters, so it remains unclear what features will be included in the mobile version.
However, it was confirmed that the official F1 game will be coming to iOS, Apple TV and Android this Autumn.
It will feature all the teams, drivers and tracks – including the new Baku City Circuit – from the 2016 season.
Codemasters claims the mobile game will include “console quality visuals” for playing wherever the users are.
The announcement post also confirmed that F1 2016 for mobile will be a “paid app”.
More details on the new mobile version of F1 2016 are set to be confirmed in the neat future.
