Romain Grosjean faces a five-place grid drop for the Italian Grand Prix after his gearbox was changed following Saturday morning practice.
Jo Bauer, the FIA F1 Technical Delegate, confirmed that Grosjean's Haas team had informed him that the Frenchman's gearbox had been changed following the final practice session.
The unit hasn't completed the required six consecutive events, and this therefore is not in compliance with Article 23.6a of the 2016 F1 Sporting Regulations.
Bauer said the matter had been referred to the stewards. The usual penalty for this is a five-place grid drop.
