The Mahindra Formula E team has officially unveiled its livery for the third season of the all-electric championship.
The 2016/2017 campaign kicks off in Hong Kong on the 9 October. The team revealed the colours its M3Electro car will race in during an event at its Donington Park garage.
Earlier in the day, Mahindra confirmed its driver line-up for season three, with Formula 3 champion Felix Rosenqvist joining the experienced Nick Heidfeld.
The team ran Heidfeld and Bruno Senna in season two, enjoying improved fortunes. Mahindra placed fifth on the teams’ standings with two podium finishes.
Mahindra launched a campaign earlier this year, following the conclusion of season two, with Pininfarina for fans to submit livery designs for the team’s 2016/2017 car.
The entries were judged by Pininfarina’s automotive design team and the winner was selected by chief designer Fabio Filippini, before being revealed at Donington on Monday evening.
