Formula E has announced the pre-season testing dates for the 2016/2017 season, with running taking place at the Donington Park circuit.
Having already confirmed the new look for the third season of the all-electric series, Formula E has now revealed when the new cars will be hitting the track for the first public test.
Teams have six days of public testing prior to the start of the new Formula E campaign in October, with 15 days of private running – which expires on the 31 July – also being allowed.
New arrivals Techeetah and Jaguar will debut at the Donington Park tests, which kick off on the 23 August.
The first test will last three days, with the final two – the 24 and 25 August – being open to the public free of charge.
On the Tuesday, the morning test will last from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with the afternoon session starting at 13:00 and finishing at 18:00.
Meanwhile on the days that are open to the public, the morning is from 9:00-12:00 and the afternoon lasts from 14:00-17:00.
The second pre-season Formula E test is scheduled to take place from the 5-7 September, with further details to be released soon.
