Max Verstappen believes his defence against Kimi Raikkonen was "fair" despite the Ferrari driver's complaints during and after the race that the Red Bull driver was moving too much.
The pair were locked in a battle over fifth for much of the latter stages of the race and at one point made minor contact, damaging Raikkonen's front-wing as he attempted an overtake at Turn 2.
Raikkonen immediately came over the radio to complain about Verstappen's defence: "He moved right and then back to left when I was going there. And he took the f**king front-wing off."
Raikkonen cotinued to complain, adding: "If he's not stopping moving then we'll hit each other. Because I moved first, so he moved after that, once I have decided to go outside and he turns after, that wasn't fair."
Speaking after the race and when told about Raikkonen's comments, Verstappen said it'd be strange if he were penalised for what he considered a "fair" defence.
"No, I have no issues, I think everything was fair," said the 18-year-old. "I only moved once. Will be very strange if I get penalised I think.
"I could see him coming so he was very optimistic to dive to the inside, so I turned to the inside so he had to brake. He locked up and hit the rear of my car, my tyre, I don't know. That can happen."
