Force India’s Formula 1 development driver Nikita Mazepin will drive for the team on both days of the Silverstone test.
The two-day event takes place on the 12 and 13 July, the Tuesday and Wednesday after this weekend’s British Grand Prix.
Mazepin joined Force India as a development driver in February and has completed an extensive simulator programme so far, as well as attending events for the team.

The test with the VJM09 at Silverstone will mark the Russian driver’s debut at the wheel of a Formula 1 car.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to test the VJM09 at Silverstone,” he said.
“There’s no doubt it will be the biggest moment of my career and it’s something I’ve been working towards my whole life.
“It’s been a few months since I joined the team and I feel ready for this opportunity.
“I know it’s an important test for the team and they will be counting on me to do a good job, so I will work hard to make sure we achieve our objectives.”
