Nico Rosberg has put to bed any speculation that he is set to leave the Mercedes outfit for a rival team, with reports citing an uncomfortable relationship with team-mate Lewis Hamilton as well as the huge pay gap that exists between with two drivers.
The German, who currently leads the championship having won fives races to Hamilton's two, is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to sign an extension.
Rosberg has enlisted the services of former-driver Gerhard Berger to negotiate a new deal with the Anglo-German team, a decision Mercedes boss Toto Wolff described as "very clever" as it allows Rosberg to focus on driving.
Rosberg sees no reason to rush discussions with the team, adding that he's confident he will be around for "many more years".
"It's not something I think about at the moment," Rosberg is quoted as saying by Autosport. "It's not a priority at the moment because there is no pressure anyway.
"I'm feeling great, we are all happy to be together," he said, adding: "I'm going to be here for many more years and that's it.
"There is no need to rush."
