McLaren's Jenson Button says he remains undecided on his future in Formula 1, but if he chooses to stay, he wants a competitive seat with the opportunity to fight for podiums.
The Briton has been linked with a move back to Williams, the team he began his career with back in 2000. Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams admitted Button would be an "attractive proposition", but stopped short of confirming any discussions had taken place.
Button welcomed the compliment, but insists he's not given much thought about his future at this early stage in the season
"I think we all would like somebody to say that about us – it was very nice of her," the 2009 champion told Sky Sports when told of Williams' comments.
"I don't know what I'm doing next year. I want to be enjoying myself again. I want to be in a position where I can fight for good results, whether it's a building year, a podium year or a winning year.
"I enjoy getting everything out of what I have, the package, but at some point it will get too much.
"Hopefully McLaren will be strong next year, and I'm sure there are other possibilities as well, but it's nothing I'm really concentrating too much on at the moment. I'm living in the moment."
