Codemasters has confirmed the release date for the up-coming F1 2016 video game, as well as sharing first gameplay footage of it.
The racing title will be released on Friday August 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
The game developers have also uncovered the first gameplay footage of F1 2016, with hotlaps of the new Baku City Circuit – host of this weekend’s European Grand Prix.
Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo and Renault’s Jolyon Palmer completed laps of the street track on the new game.
The first screenshots and details of F1 2016 were unveiled last month, confirming an expansive 10-season career mode, customisable avatars and the return of the safety car.
