Ferrari has confirmed two new additions to its Driver Academy for the 2016 season, with Charles Leclerc and Giuliano Alesi joining Antonio Fuoco and Guan Yu Zhou.
Leclerc was recently confirmed in the GP3 series with ART Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver raced in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship last year and finished fourth in the standings.
As well as joining the Ferrari Driver Academy, he will also join the F1 team as a development driver.
Giuliano, son of former F1 race winner and Ferrari driver Jean Alesi, also joins the young driver programme line-up and will race in GP3 with Trident.
The Frenchman finished fourth in French Formula 4 last season. He will partner Fuoco, who also picks up a development driver role with Ferrari, at the Italian team in GP3.
Meanwhile Chinese racer Zhou remains in the academy after finishing runner-up in Italian Formula 4 last year. He moves up to European Formula 3 with Motopark.
