The Haas F1 Team has unveiled its first Formula 1 car, dubbed the VF-16 for 'Very First', which will participate in the 2016 season.
The American outfit announced its intention to join the F1 grid back in early-2014 with the hope of debuting in 2015, however the team quickly realised the effort required to launch a team and delayed its debut until 2016.
The team entered into a technical partnership with Ferrari, using its latest power unit and drivetrain amongst other components.
The VF-16 got its first shakedown on Saturday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya where it completed one lap before an oil leak halted further running. It's due to make its first public debut on Monday during pre-season testing.
The car will be driven by Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez.
