Ferrari is the latest team to unveil its 2016 challenger during an online launch on Friday afternoon.
The SF16-H features a retro-livery, which is a throwback to the Ferrari 312T, which featured a white top half with the Italian flag wrapping round the airbox, a look Ferrari has adopted once again for the car it hopes will challenge Mercedes.
The team are due to complete a shakedown of its new car on Sunday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, a day ahead of the first official pre-season test.
Speaking at the launch, power unit chief Matteo Binotto explained the changes his team have worked on to create a tighter rear-end.
“We have tried to compact it in order to have a positive impact on aerodynamics," he said. "The car is tighter and narrower compared to last year. We tried to move all the accessories.
"But we did not work only on architecture, we tried to improve combustion for example, inlet aspiration and also the turbo. This is the first step compared to the past, a step forward, so we have made important technical choices and innovative choices."
According to chief designer, Simone Resta, they have been "very ambitious" with the design of the car.
"The level [of the nose] is higher so the air flows different to last year," he explained. "That is very important because it has a positive impact on aerodynamics.
"Also, after four years of pull-rod, we have changed and now we have front suspension with push-rod. The weight is better and it is a step forwards compared to last year and the previous models.
"Another important part are the sidepods. The radiators are different – and we have tried to take advantage with the cooling systems."
