An exhibition celebrating the career of seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher has opened in Germany.
Deutsche Vermögensberatung, a long-time partner of Schumacher, has linked up with his family to create the event in the German town of Marburg.
Titled "Michael Schumacher — Record-holding World Champion. 20 Years of Partnership with Deutsche Vermögensberatung", the exhibition includes privately-owned items never previously shown to the public.
It also features some of Schumacher’s old F1 helmets and cars, with seven different areas to explore. The public will be able to visit the exhibition free of charge and will run for two years until 2018.
More information on the exhibition can be found on its official website.
Schumacher continues to recover at home in Switzerland from injuries sustained in a skiing accident in December 2013. No official update on his condition has been made in recent months.
