Toro Rosso won't officially launch its car until February 29, the day before the start of the second pre-season test, due to development delays related to its late switch from Renault to Ferrari power.
The Faenza based outfit will however run its STR11 at the opening test next week in Barcelona, though they will run a test livery due to the time constraints.
"It will be a blue car," team principal Franz Tost told Motorsport.com about its livery plans, before adding that an official launch wouldn't happen until the second test.
"We will [officially launch] on the 29th [of February] because we are so late with everything," he said. "We want to make a proper paint job as well, so we will present the car only then in Barcelona."
Whilst the engine switch has caused the team delays, Tost admitted he wasn't worried about not making the first test and confirmed the engine had been fired up for the first time on Monday.
