Toro Rosso has confirmed its driver schedule for the first 2016 pre-season Formula 1 test.
The opening four-day event will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from the 22-25 February.
Teams and drivers will then return to the Spanish circuit from the 1-4 March for the second and final winter test.
The plan is for Carlos Sainz Jr to debut the team’s new, Ferrari-powered STR11, Toro Rosso confirmed to Grand Prix Times.
The Spaniard will drive the car on Monday, before handing over to team-mate Max Verstappen, who will sample the 2016 car for the first time on day two.
Sainz Jr will return to the cockpit of the STR11 for day three, with Verstappen concluding the Italian outfit's running at the opening pre-season test.
